Reviews
Residential proxy reviews: all eleven providers
Listed alphabetically. Each review covers pricing as of October 2026, targeting and sessions, sourcing and KYC, and who each provider suits.
Every review on this site follows a common structure, so you can compare like with like: a verdict panel, the vendor’s current pricing with a link to its page, the facts on targeting, protocols, sessions and customer checks, and dated third-party performance figures where we cite them. We don’t score or rank providers; for that reasoning, see how we choose picks.
- Bright Data
- The strictest know-your-customer process and the deepest targeting, at the highest list price here — and its last published residential test dates from March 2024. Pick for: strict customer vetting and the deepest targeting; Google results, pay-per-call, no subscription.
- Decodo
- The fastest average response in Proxyway’s April 2026 round with near-perfect success, at mid-market prices — but plans don’t roll over and pay-as-you-go traffic expires after 12 months. Pick for: best performance below enterprise pricing.
- Evomi
- The lowest confirmed per-GB price with city targeting included, and a strong July 2026 test — on a pool Proxyway calls small, with multipliers for some advanced filters. Pick for: lowest price per GB.
- Infatica
- Mandatory ID verification, 24/7 chat and a $4 trial, with mid-market monthly plans — but a slow tail in testing and a pool skewed to Russia, Brazil and China. Runner-up for: strict customer vetting and the deepest targeting.
- IPRoyal
- Traffic that never expires plus sticky sessions of up to seven days — at prices well above the market median for small buyers. Pick for: long sticky sessions on traffic that never expires.
- Oxylabs
- The largest pool Proxyway measured in 2026 and top-tier success rates, sold only by monthly subscription with no refunds on self-service purchases. Pick for: largest measured pool for steady high-volume work.
- PacketStream
- One flat $1/GB rate for rotating and sticky traffic, with no tiers, multipliers or subscription, and a prepaid balance that never expires and also pays for its Search, Fetch and MCP APIs. Pick for: simplest flat-rate pricing.
- Proxy-Cheap
- Very low headline rates presented as discounts of unclear permanence, no current independent test, and a 2.7 Trustpilot score built on refund and quality complaints.
- Rayobyte
- Pay-as-you-go from 1 GB with a no-card free trial, deep targeting, and the cheapest confirmed pay-as-you-go rate at 1–5 TB — but slow in Proxyway’s April 2026 test and KYC is required. Pick for: testing on a small budget; terabyte volumes without a subscription.
- SOAX
- Strong April 2026 results and fine rotation controls, priced in credits by exit-country tier — credits that expire 60 days after purchase.
- Webshare
- Fine-grained monthly plans from 1 GB to 3 TB with deep targeting and no KYC unless flagged — but subscription only, and undercut by Evomi and Rayobyte.
